Where did God come from? or Who
created God?
Biblical Authority Ministries, April 5, 2024
These are illogical questions that assume time is absolute and God “showed up”
on the scene at some point. This is not the nature of the God of the Bible.
It is like asking the question…what page of Shakespeare’s book Hamlet, do we find Shakespeare? Shakespeare is not confined to what he wrote, but is beyond it.
The God of the Bible created time and is not bound by it. When one asks who CREATED God or where did God COME from, these are action verbs that implies that time is in existence prior to God. Nothing is prior to the God of the Bible!
Thus, when someone is asking ‘where God came’ from or ‘who created God’, technically, they are no longer referring to the God of the Bible but an alleged “created god”. God is simply not bound by His creation but is beyond it.

A More Correct View of God
God is often called Ancient of Days or the Alpha and the Omega (first and last letter of the Greek alphabet) or the First and the Last because He is God over time. Consider:
· “I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire.” Daniel 7:9 NKJV
·
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the
Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” Revelation 22:13 NKJV
